So I test drove a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and really, really liked it...almost enough to replace my 2007 S60 R with.
That one though was a crap pipe, so I figured I’d wait a little longer and save up for a better one...maybe wait until next February.
And then, of course, this guy shows up:

Just keep in mind that after ‘05 they switched from a detuned STI engine to a WRX engine, so this’ll be a bit slower than the 2004 you drove.

Really hard to tell because these damn things do not understand depreciation. Its near impossible to find a base model for under $10K with similar mileage in my area

I think he’s got a bit of that “adding mods to the price of the car” thing going on, but it’s definitely a unicorn, it sounds like it’s definitely well maintained, and you may not ever see another this clean with those miles. Ask for the Carfax. Ask if there’s any broken/damaged interior bits, especially small plastic pieces. Ask for more photos, namely all the sides, roof, sunroof, underside (including all four wheel assemblies and inside the fenders), the seats, the trunk, the steering wheel/dash, and detailed photos of all the “minor light scratches and parking lot dings.” If all that looks good and he’s willing to go to $15,XXX then send him money pronto.
Or don’t and let me have it. Either way.
